Meetup location is the Poudre Park Community Center in Poudre Park, CO, on CO-14, Cache La Poudre Canyon
(The CC is next door to the local Fire Department. Do not park at or near the FD. There's plenty of spots in front and rear of the CC and along Poudre Park Road---just don't block driveways.)
Meetup is 11:00AM for sign-in, grouping, and shuttle.
Launch begins at 2:00PM. Be orderly and considerate to others on the beach.
Post-race meetup should be around 5:00-6:00PM for results and awards. Everyone will get something.
This is a combined men's and women's heat short boat race. All boats under 9-feet can enter--- whether old or new slicers, creekers, and even play boats if you wish to test yourself and your boat's mettle against its larger siblings.
Please note: Due to possible low water conditions, an alternate launch site will be used. Full refund if the event is cancelled.
BYO food and drink. Bottled water and snacks provided. The Community Center has refrigerators and stove tops. No alcohol.
Though this is a non-profit, low-key event, we still have insurance and expenses to cover. So we are asking only $25 plus $10 for non-ACA members to share in the expenses as contributions. Your share can be prepaid below or at the pre-race meeting using cash or check only. The website registration and pay site will be closed the day of the race.
Any and all monies remaining after expenses will go to a charity or retained in a fund for future events.
Refunds not available for no shows and cancellations the day before race day.
Everyone will be required to sign a waiver---yep, those. Can use the link below or top of this page for a copy to bring with you, or, available at the pre-race meeting.
Space is limited, so register as soon as you can.
The race is performed in strict accordance with the Canyon Lakes RD stipulations. Give them a shout out for granting permission to have the race and possible future events.

Update (05/31): An after race get-together is in the works. Offered by local boaters in the foothills near Laporte. Location and time TBD at the meeting. Plenty of beer and typical boater fare. Si, doritos con queso y carne. Yummm!
